1.9 Compliance status of ‘Guidelines on Learner Support Centre’ – As per Annexure - X of UGC(ODL) Regulations, 2017:
HEI shall mention the mechanism put into place along with brief details of grievances received and actions taken thereof. Also mention that how the learners have been made aware about this mechanism.
1. KSOU established a grievance redressal system and procedure for the benefit of students pursuing education in ODL. 2. It provides online facility to the students for submitting grievances and track their status. 3. It ensures redressal of grievances within the time. 4. H EI monitors, assess, reviews the effectives of the grievance redressal procedure. 5. Rights and responsibilities of learners and HEI are clearly provided in the website. 6. The online portal in the university works for 24x7 and provide remedial measure to the problems of students. 7. HEI constitut ed the committee comprised of three members led by a Coordinator who is the core faculty. 8. A cell is created with necessary staff and paraphernalia, which resolve the problem of leaners. 9. The contact numbers of the members of the committee are provided in the website so that learners feel easy to contact them
